Introduction

Sage accounting software is the market leader in the UK. The product range is comprehensive and designed to suit businesses from small to large. Whether you already run Sage and require additional staff trained, or require impartial advice and guidance on the most suitable package for your needs, we can help.

We do not provide open courses in this area as our experience is that personal and bespoke tuition is much more cost effective and faster.

Our fully trained AAT accounting technician Ruth, will develop a package of training and support to suit you, but some ideas are shown below.

Basic Introduction

If you are just starting a new business, or perhaps running one but wish to introduce computer accounting,  we can provide initial tuition in the basics of book keeping and how to use that knowledge with the entry level Sage software. Straightforward help is given in how to set the system up, how to invoice, control cash, reconcile the bank account/s and how to run the various period end routines etc.

Intermediate

The business may already operate basic computer accounts but wishes to upgrade the package or train staff to get more information out of the system. Hands on help is provided in getting more management information, doing error corrections, working with ledgers and audit trails etc, ensuring that you get the best out of the system that you operate.

Advanced

At advanced level, it is about customising the software to do what you want it to do, rather than simply relying on the standard functions and reports. The report designer in Sage is a powerful but sometimes daunting tool. Up to date management information is a vital requirement of modern business.

Payroll and Year End etc

Other areas in which training can be provided are for example, payroll and year end routines. Develop your knowledge further in these areas or talk to us about your requirements.
