Introduction
Developing
the ability to communicate assertively is increasingly important
in today’s competitive world. An assertive approach enables you
to remain in control and communicate confidently with those
around you. Assertive communication makes it possible for you to
get your point across early and helps you maintain your position
when under pressure.
This course
helps you understand what assertiveness is – and what it is not.
Truly assertive people gain self respect and win the respect of
others around them. Developing an assertive approach will enable
you to feel more in control of the situations you face.
