Introduction

The Advanced Presentation Skills programme provides the polish, professionalism and high impact required to achieve the desired objective of any presentation. Concentrating on effective preparation, the style of delivery, use of audio and visual aids and handling the audience, this course will enable more experienced managers and executives to enhance their performance.

Style of presentation, body language, handling the audience and dealing with a hostile situation are dealt with to enhance the skills of the more experienced manager or executive.

Delegates should have had some experience of presenting in order to get the best out of this course.

Practical experience in speaking confidently, maintaining control and holding the interest of the audience, the use of effective visual aids and the building and maintaining of a rapport with the audience.

Teaching methods:

There will be a mixture of theoretical input from the tutor along with opportunities for experiential learning, and practice and discussion in small and large groups. Extensive use is made of video feedback along with personal coaching.
