It is said that
even bad publicity is better than none, but we would prefer to see
good news making the local or national newspapers. So how do you get
your message across?
This workshop
looks at the basic principles of public relations, planning an
effective PR strategy both internally and externally and how
newspapers and magazines work. Delegates will gain practical
experience in writing press releases and be able to cope with
approaches from journalists.
Who should attend:
Those who are new to public relations and wish to gain an
understanding of the principles, those who may have recently taken
on the responsibility to formulate a basic strategy for the company
or organisation or those actually doing the job but with no formal
training in this area.
