Introduction
The ability to communicate effectively and to be able to
influence others is a vital skill at all executive,
management and supervisory levels. This advanced
communication skills course looks at the concept of
Transactional Analysis as a powerful communications tool.
The simple, practical nature of the Transactional Analysis model
brings the sophisticated tools of the expert within reach of us all.
It was developed by Dr Eric Berne in the 1950's.
Originally
trained in psychoanalysis, Berne wanted a theory which could be
easily understood and made available to everyone. Transactional
Analysis is a social psychology and a method to improve
communication. The theory outlines how we have developed and treat
ourselves, how we relate and communicate with others, and offers
suggestions and interventions which will enable us to change and
grow.
Designed for:
All levels of management and supervisory staff who wish
to develop their communications skills to a high level.
Transactional Analysis is also a powerful tool for defusing
