Making the Change to Senior Management

Team building exercise on a recent development day. It's amazing how dependent we are on others when we are on top of the pile!

Introduction

Promotion to a senior management position requires a different approach and way of thinking. The 'Making the Change to Senior Management' programme consists of two, one day courses. These are designed to help with the transition and to prepare you for the strategic and organisational aspects of senior management.

The workshops focus on the challenges faced by both new and established senior managers. These include understanding the organisational influence on decision making and the various external forces that act on the business, as well as the people management techniques and issues at this level. As the photograph at the top of the page illustrates, it can be precarious at the top and we rely on others to support us!
