The Belbin Team Role profile system is a valuable and powerful tool that enables managers to get the very best out of their teams. It can be used in isolation to examine the people in an existing team or to select new teams. It is particularly useful when putting together a team for a project.

Malcolm Yates is our Belbin expert and spent time with Dr Meredith Belbin, helping to develop and refine the team role concept. Malcolm is one of the five official Belbin Associates in the UK and as such is authorised to carry out team role profiling using the Belbin "Interplace" system.

We use the Belbin profiling system extensively in our teambuilding courses and events as an integral part of the training delivery and as part of the Belbin "Teamopoly" programme (see special events for details).
